  1. 3. Be I Am.

“Your experience of self is evolving.” So true! When I was a teenager I was the oldest daughter in a dysfunctional family. My mother was dealing with mental illness and self-medicating with alcohol. She often said; “I’m going crazy!”

Foolishly, I adopted this phrase as well. The more I said it, the worse things got for me.

One day, my wise little sister, Teresa, said, “Stop saying I’m going crazy. You’re making it worse.”

She said it with the kind of conviction that I could actually hear. I stopped.

I learned a hypnosis statement that I began to repeat again and again: “Every day, in every way, I am better, better and better!”

I worked with other affirmations as well: “God is present and active in this situation.”

“I am always in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing.”

I am so grateful that my experience of self is evolving as I grow closer in consciousness to the messages from my God space within. Indeed: Be “I Am!”
